The quick answer
Start with the Navimow i105 for a smaller lawn that fits its rated area and terrain. Consider the LUBA 2 AWD when uneven ground and traction justify an all-wheel-drive platform. These are different mower briefs, so lawn fit matters more than choosing a winner on specifications alone.
| Your priorities | LUBA 2 AWD | i105 |
|---|---|---|
| Best fit | Uneven lawns and multi-zone gardens | Smaller lawns within its rated coverage |
| Main appeal | All-wheel-drive layout for challenging terrain | Wire-free setup with app-managed boundaries |
| Check first | Satellite positioning needs a suitable installation location. | The US listing rates coverage at 0.125 acre. |
Garden size comes first
The i105 US listing is aimed at lawns up to 0.125 acre. The LUBA 2 family includes different capacity variants, so compare the exact version against your grass area. Count only the area that needs mowing, then consider travel between zones and the shape of the garden.
Terrain separates the choices
The LUBA’s all-wheel-drive platform is the reason to compare it for demanding terrain. Navimow lists up to 30% working slope capability for the i105. For either robot, verify both working and boundary slope limits, and remember that wet grass and awkward transitions can change the practical challenge.
Our recommendation
We would choose around the lawn rather than the brand. A relatively straightforward small garden points toward the i105. Uneven ground and a need for more traction make the LUBA worth investigating. Both need an installation plan; check satellite visibility, dock access and the exact included positioning hardware.
